Gluten
There were six pizzas and a salad in the conference room. This was our dinner lunch for working 2 shows. Of course, I could only have salad. I looked and drooled at the pizzas especially the veggie pizza. I had to leave the office b/c all I could smell was PIZZA!!!!! It's going to be a rough night. All I want is pizza. :-(

I made a pizza last night from scratch. Mixed up the dough, then used home grown sliced tomatoes for the base. Chopped Itallian parselly and garlic, Then some mozzarella and swiss cheese on top. You can have some of that! Won't hurt you at all. Wash it down with a glass of wine.
I would love some real pizza. I have tried the frozen gluten free pizza from Whole Foods. It's alright, but it's not the same. Not even close.
Your homemade pizza sounds great, especially with the swiss cheese. Is there flour in your dough recipe? Also, I can't drink wine because I don't have the enzyme to process it and other alochol.
There is flour in the dough. It's mostly flour. It is flour, water, yeast, salt and some olive oil. But I guess if you had a gluten free dough then you could do the same thing with that.
Or you might make Italian meat balls, if you can't have dough.
half ground beef and half ground pork. (or turkey,/.. ground something, but half beef and pork is best.) about 1/2 lb to 1 lb of meat. Bread crumbs that you soften in milk or just put in dry. Chop italian parsely with garlic until you have a green white mixture. depending on how much meat, about 1/4 cup chopped. 1 to 2 cloves of garlic. And an egg. Mix all of that together in a bowl.
Then cube some mozzarella cheese. 1 inch cubes. Form the meat balls around the cheese. Each ball with have a cheese center. Brown all sides of each meat ball in olive oil.
I like to make each meat ball somewhat large with lots of cheese inside. Almost tennis ball size. Perhaps 3 inch dia. One or two is a portion. I usually end up with 5 balls.
Then in a baking dish put a can of italian tomatoes. Place the browned meat balls ontop of the tomatoes. Bake that 350 for a while 35-40 min. Grate some cheese of choice on that. Serve it with a green.
This will smell so good while baking! You can kind of tell when it is done as the cheese starts to run out onto the tomatoes.
