Busy Weekend

What a busy weekend. I took Friday & Saturday off to go to Worcester to watch the NCAA Northeast Regional Semi-finals & finals. Unfortunately, the all 3 games were very one sided. But I still had a great time though.

On Sunday I worked at my part-time job. I would love to take some customers and put them in my shoes as a sales associate/cashier. Maybe if I did that, they would have a better understanding of why I can't move faster or why we don't have a certain product in. What really gets me is when I have a customer who is looking for something to finish their bedroom. This is what happens: The customer will buy a bedding ensemble in 1998. At that time, they will not buy the entire set. Which is absolutely fine because bedding ensembles are ridiculously expensive. The real kicker is the guest will come into the store (2006) looking for the finishing pieces. Now seven years has passed and the guest still expects us to have the same merchandise. How dumb are these people? Don't they know or understand that products/times/fashion, etc are constantly changing.

I am so excited for tomorrow. I have the day off and we are getting digital cable and high speed internet. I know, it's about time.
